Oh yeah, you could just wait until people find that Mursat Monk boss - Whatshername the Matron - takes forever to kill without mesmer(or Ranger, preferably with CG)

Yes she does, without someone to interrupt her chain you can nuke and pound on her all day long. Mesmer/interrupt ranger is crucial for second to last mission

Man, talk about missing the point.

Clearly, I would have preferred to go as a domination mesmer, as I also had done the missions prior with henchies. I probably couldve done the last mission with henchies as well, but it takes long enough as is in a regular group, and Henchies arent as fast.

The point of this thread is not a discussion on what mesmer build "is best" for hells precipice. The point is to illustrate that you can get into a group as a mesmer (dont bother replying to tell me how you get all kind of groups as a mesmer because if you do its the same group over and over.) alot easier if you are willing/able to be flexible and fill a need that the group belives it has.

Half of you make my point for me, instead of reaching out and trying different things and filling the needs of a group, you want to tell me what you think is best. LOL. It's classic because If you didn't notice I said we got thru the mission without a singular hitch, so please dont tell me how its only scrub groups who can think a little outside the box.

And further more, for anyone whos gonna tell me how I couldnt have been an effective healer, well your kind of right. I wouldnt have sold myself as a primary healer for the whole party. I took strain off the healer in the party, which sped the party along because we never had to wait for the healers to regen energy even though we didnt have a batter necro (gasp).

several people have (apparently not seeing others do it) told me how rotten fast casting is for healing.... Yes i agree, i didnt have a point in fast casting. My focus was healing and inspiration. So no, i'm not casting any faster, but I'm also NEVER out of energy and able to intturupt 3 ways....

Its about thinking outside of the same old box.

Be a Mes/Nec and you'll get in a group no worries !

Just advertise you're a battery willing to recharge those monks out there with BiP and away you go !
